Getting Your First Pitch

Here's our tips on finding that elusive first pitch. It's a bit like getting your first job, you need to show experience to get a pitch but to get experience you to get a pitch. The more work you did in preparation the easier it is to get it.

Finances

The be-all and end-all of your business, if you aren't making any money you can't continue and if you don't make enough money you won't want to. How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. How do you submit your tax return? One receipt at a time. Do it over a year and it's not that bad.

Sustainability

Capitalism and sustainability mix like oil and water. But we have to work out a way that we can minimise the impact we have as businesses, making sure that whatever goes into your business (ingredients, staff) and what comes out (food, waste) is dealt with in the best way possible
